This is the base publication service for Administrative Layer information in Manitowoc County. It contains School Districts, Special Districts, 2010 Census Blocks, Voting Wards, County Board Supervisory Districts, land owned by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, DOT Wildlife Ponds, and USFWS Waterfowl areas.
School Districts and Special Districts (mainly sanitary and lake districts) were created from codes carried in the tax roll. They were last updated in Oct, 2011.
The 2010 Census Blocks were extracted from the U.S. Census Bureau's TIGER/Line Files.
Wards and County Board Supervisory Districts were created after the 2010 census. Wards are updated after annexations. Supervisory Districts will not change until after the 2020 census.
WDNR, DOT, and USFWS lands were extracted from tax parcels in July, 2013. |
